In view of the Maharashtra Assembly elections, this time many famous celebrities are seen campaigning for various political parties. Meanwhile, actor Riteish Deshmukh also reached Latur to campaign for his younger brother and Congress candidate Dheeraj Deshmukh.
At a public meeting held in Latur on Sunday, Ritesh sought votes in favour of Dheeraj. Dheeraj Deshmukh has been made the Congress party’s candidate from Latur, while the BJP has fielded Ramesh Karad on this seat.
While campaigning, Ritesh mentioned Lord Krishna and said, “Lord Krishna has said that karma is dharma, the person who is working honestly is doing dharma and those who do not work need dharma. We have been told to talk about development. We will fulfill our dharma ourselves.”
Taking aim at the BJP, Ritesh further said, “The educated youth of the country still lack jobs. It is the responsibility of the government to provide employment to the youth. Apart from this, farmers are not getting the right price for their crops. This is also a big problem, which is the government’s job to solve.”
