Three “terrorists” were killed and two others arrested in a joint operation by police, security forces and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province, an official statement said.

The incident took place on Sunday in the state’s Musakhel district, where law enforcement agencies swung into action following a tip-off about possible movement of “terrorists” by the roadside, CTD said in a statement.

Arms and ammunition were seized from the militants during the operation, while the bodies were shifted to hospital, and the arrested “terrorists” are being interrogated, the statement said.
