Fazilka March 15 (Punjab Khabarnama): Women who supported during the blood donation drive in Fazilka Blood Bank were honored by the Health Department. The women were honored in the program organized by the Civil Surgeon Dr. Singh in the blood bank to honor and encourage the women who cooperated in the blood bank in this regard.On this occasion, Dr. Kavita Singh said that now women are not behind in any field, but their participation in the blood donation campaign is also motivating other women. He said that Fazilka Blood Bank has been honored at the Punjab level in which female staff are working and are working equally with male staff.He said that in earlier times, women used to refuse to donate blood, but now with awareness women are not behind in donating blood. He said that women are two steps ahead of men in the service, due to which the department is concerned by honoring her.Meanwhile, blood bank staff Ranju Madam, Brodrick, Rajnish Chalana, Mass Media Officer Divesh Kumar, Harmeet Singh and Atinder Singh were present.
