Rana, a former Asian Games gold medallist and one of India’s most decorated pistol shooters, reportedly died at a Delhi hospital after suffering health complications.
Rana had recently returned from the ISSF World Cup in Munich, Germany, where he was serving as the high-performance coach for India’s pistol shooters. Reports indicate that he experienced discomfort during his return journey and was hospitalised upon arrival in New Delhi. He subsequently underwent a medical procedure, including stent placement, but could not recover.
