Ferozepur , 12 February 2024 (Punjab khabarnama) : Last evening at Ferozepur, the final of the 2- day fair On the day, renowned Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi entertained the audience with his popular songs and Punjabi folk songs , Awo Ni Sainyo , Sufi songs ( Baba Bulle Shah ), Heer , Koka etc. He forced the audience in thousands to dance with the songs . On this occasion Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan attended as the chief guest and specially arrived MLA Ferozepur Rural Mr. Rajnish Dahiya , MLA Ferozepur Urban . Ranbir Bhullar and MLA Guruharshahay S. Fauja Singh Sarari , Deputy Commissioner Mr. Rajesh Dhiman also enjoyed Sufi and folk songs .
Singer Jasbir Jassi congratulated the Punjab government and the district administration for organizing the Basant Panchami event at district Ferozepur for the first time at the state level . He said that it is our duty to connect the new generation with our culture, folk songs , folk poetry and this can only be done through such efforts . Jassi said that every person should respect religion. Because no religion teaches mutual hatred. Religion unites people , not divides them.
