Fatehgarh Sahib, 08 February (Punjab khabarnama) : At Krishi Vigyan Kendra, students of Government High School Aliwal (Ludhiana) learned about the agricultural extension activities being carried out by Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Associate Director (Training) Dr. Vipan Kumar Rampal introduced the students to modern farming techniques and agriculture .
On this occasion, Dr. Manisha Bhatian, Assistant Professor of Krishi Science Center informed the students about the various courses being run by Punjab Agriculture University and visited the HomeScience Laboratory. He also informedthe students about the social media platforms of PAU Ludhiana .
Ms. Kirandeep Kaur, Program Assistant (Soil and Water Laboratory) explained the importance of soil and water testing and gave the students a tour of the laboratory. Mr. Kuldeep Singh (Farm Manager) explained the various demonstration units set up at K.V.K. And visited the technology park. Agriculture literature of PAU was also provided tothe students . Finally, the school teachers thanked the team of experts of Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
