17 Aug 2026 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau  : American actress Hayden Panettiere, best known for her roles in Heroes and Nashville, has died at the age of 36, her representative confirmed. Her father, Alan “Skip” Panettiere, also announced the death in a statement.

Rise to Fame With ‘Heroes’

Panettiere became internationally known for playing Claire Bennet, the superpowered cheerleader, in NBC’s hit series Heroes, which premiered in 2006.

The role made her one of television’s most recognisable young stars and earned her several Teen Choice Awards.

‘Nashville’ Brought Critical Acclaim

She later starred as Juliette Barnes in the musical drama Nashville, showcasing both her acting and singing abilities.
