Officials stated that rapid infrastructure development and increasing household connections under the PNG project are transforming the city’s domestic energy network. The administration believes the transition from Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders to PNG connections will significantly improve urban convenience and environmental sustainability.
Deputy Commissioner officials said the expansion work is progressing in multiple residential and commercial areas of Patiala. Gas pipelines are being laid in new localities, while many households have already shifted to piped gas connections.
