Patiala, February 6 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed various ongoing schemes under rural development and directed officials to expedite development works in villages. She emphasized completing ongoing projects on time, while also focusing on pending tasks. Additionally, she instructed that progress reports of completed works be prepared. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Anuprita Johal.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner gathered information from B.D.P.Os, engineers from various departments, and other senior officials about the ongoing development works in villages. She directed that all government welfare schemes reach the deserving individuals at the grassroots level.
Dr. Preeti Yadav reviewed the ongoing works under the Punjab Construction Program, MP LAD Scheme, Smart Villages Campaign, Untied Fund, Rural Sports Stadium, Jan Suvidha Camps, Amrit Sarovar, and other projects in villages. She gave instructions to officials and said that a report on the actions taken based on the directives should be presented at the next monthly meeting to assess the performance within a month. All block development and Panchayat officers from the district were present at the meeting.
