Fatehgarh Sahib, February 04 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Geetika Singh disclosed that under the “CM di Yogashala” program being run by the Punjab Government with the aim of making Punjab healthy, yoga classes are being organized at various places in the district. So far, 23 expert trainers of yoga have provided free yoga training to 3251 citizens through 118 classes.
She said that there should be a group of 25 citizens to take yoga classes and to join this program; one can take advantage of it by giving a missed call on telephone no.76694-00500.
Geetika Singh said that in the district, under the leadership of Pratima Dabar, Supervisor of CM’s Yogashala, yoga training is being given to the people of the district by various trainers, including Gurshabad Singh, Nindiyan Sharma, Ramanjot Kaur, Neha Maurya, and Akhilesh Kumar.
With yoga, the common people have got relief from many health issues such as cervical, back pain, thyroid, blood pressure, sugar, acidity, obesity, migraine, depression, etc.
DDF Ikram Khan said that citizens who want to avail themselves of the facility of these classes can give a missed call on toll-free number 76694-00500 or log in to CM’s Yogashala portal “cmdiyogshala.punjab.gov.in.” If, due to any reason, the citizen is unable to register, then they can contact the state government’s helpline number 1100 or send an email to cmdiyogshala@punjb.gov.in.
