Jalandhar, January 10, 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): A terrible road accident occurred due to dense fog. A Volvo bus collided forcefully with a UP Roadways bus in Phillaur, causing the bus to hang from a bridge. Passengers screamed in panic.
Fortunately, the driver applied the brakes immediately and managed to control the bus, instructing passengers to get down. Afterward, the bus was seen hanging in mid-air.
However, the driver of the bus that collided from behind fled the scene. The roadways driver and conductor suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized. Police have reached the scene and started the investigation.
