April 29 (Punjab Khabarnama) : During the search operation on Firozpur Indo-Pak border this morning, BSF has recovered a China made drone and a packet of heroin tied with it from the fields, the weight of heroin is about 510 grams.

Giving this information, the Public Relations Officer of BSF Punjab Frontier said that when the BSF soldiers were conducting a routine search operation in the area of village Gandu Kilcha, they saw a drone lying in the fields, with a packet wrapped in tape. It was tied and when the packet was opened after taking possession of the drone, 510 grams of heroin was recovered from it. He told that this drone is China made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.

By which Indian smugglers had this heroin been procured from Pakistani smugglers and where was it to be supplied next? BSF is investigating this matter. According to information received from sources, the value of the seized heroin in the international market is said to be more than Rs 2.5 crore.
