March 15 (Punjab Khabarnama): Delhi Capitals has suffered another major setback before the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) starting from March 22. South African fast bowler Lungi Ngidi has been ruled out of the tournament and Delhi Capitals have announced Australian all-rounder Jake Fraser-McGurk as his replacement. Jake Fraser-McGurk, who has played two ODIs for Australia, will join the Capitals at his reserve price of Rs 50 lakh.Ngidi has not played since January after suffering a left lateral ankle sprain during the T20I series against India. Ngidi has also withdrawn from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

England’s great batsman Harry Brook has also withdrawn from the IPL citing personal reasons. The England cricketer was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 4 crore.Brook withdrew from England’s recently completed Test series in India in late January to be with his family, and left the team during their team’s preparation camp in the United Arab Emirates.
