Sangrur, March 13 (Punjab Khabarnama): For a permanent solution to the sewage problem in Sangrur City Civil Hospital, Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj today launched a project worth Rs 8.41 lakh for de-silting of sewers and repair of sewer lines. Started On this occasion, he said that we are continuously continuing the series of development works and our purpose is only public service. He said that along with the Civil Hospital, there is Homi Bhaba Cancer Hospital and a large number of patients are admitted dailyDue to the arrival of patients and other needy people, improving the sewage system here became the need of the hour. He said that the sewage often overflowed due to which these two hospitals were causing problems. He said that the sewer line is very old at this place and due to the lack of regular cleaning of the sewer, this problem was taking a serious form.
He said that the de-silting and repair of this sewer line has started from today, which will be completed within a month.The MLA also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Civil Hospital Sangrur will soon be upgraded by the Punjab government and in the meantime, a new sewer line will be installed here.
On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Kirpal Singh and other officials and party workers were present.
