According to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, for the strengthening of democracy, the sweep team Patiala today at Multani Mall Modi College, Patiala, Principal Dr. A special camp was organized by Sweep Team Patiala under the leadership of Neeraj Goyal and Prof. Rajeev Sharma and Pawan Goyal Patiala Foundation, NGO to sensitize college students about voting.
During the event, District Sweep Nodal Officer Dr. Savinder Rekhi informed the students who have completed 18 years of voter registration about the online and offline voter registration process and appealed to the students for 100 percent participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The pre-registration process was also explained to the students who will be turning 18 in the next few months. During this event, Mrs. Maninder Deep Cheema, the nodal officer of Modi College, administered the voter’s oath to the students regarding the elections. On this occasion, the college’s Dr. Rupinder Singh, Dr. Deepak Kumar and Sweep Team Assistant Nodal Officer, Mr. Mohit Kaushal, and Avtar Singh were also present.
