The construction work of this 20.23 km long road will be completed by 26 September 2024.

Public Works Minister and Electricity Minister Punjab Harbhajan Singh ETO said that rejuvenating the roads of the state is the main priority of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said that the Punjab Government is working very seriously to strengthen the road network of the state and no black spot will be left in the state. He was addressing the residents of the area in Dasuha today in the presence of MLA Dasuha Karmaveer Singh Ghuman while inaugurating the work of strengthening the 20.23 km long Dasuha-Kamahi Devi Road to be built at a cost of Rs 9.50 crore. During this, MLA Udmurd Jasveer Singh Raja Gill, Light Incharge Mukerian Prof. Apart from G.S. Multani, S.D.M. Dasuha Pradeep Singh Bains, other dignitaries were also present.
While addressing the impressive program organized on this occasion, the Public Works Minister said that this road is a very important road of Kandi area and this road connects National Highway Jalandhar-Pathankot (NH-44) Dasuha to Talwara, Dholwaha, Haryana Road. Kamahi joins the goddess. He told that religious places like Pandav Sarovar Temple, Temple Baba Lal Dayal Ji and Kamahi Devi Temple are situated on this road, which are highly recognized in the entire area. Apart from this, about 30-40 villages have to travel on this road. He told that the last repair of this road was done in the year 2013 under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and as per the rules, it was to be repaired in the year 2018, but the previous governments did not take any care of this road and now Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann The led Punjab government is strengthening the road network in the entire state and in the same sequence this road is also being constructed. He informed that the construction work of the road will be completed by 26 September 2024.
Harbhajan Singh ETO said that along with road construction, the electricity network in the state has also been strengthened. He told that when the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in the state, the Power Corporation was in a loss of Rs 1880 crore and after the formation of our government, even after providing 600 units of free electricity to the people, the Power Corporation is in profit of Rs 564 crore. He said that the electricity situation in the state is very strong and the Punjab government, fulfilling its guarantee, has supplied 600 units of free electricity to the people, due to which at present more than 90 percent of the people of the state are getting zero electricity bills. Is.
MLA Dasuha Karambir Singh Ghuman expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the Public Works Minister and said that due to his efforts the road network in the area is getting strengthened. He also expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann who has fulfilled every demand of Dasuha Assembly constituency on initiative basis.
