Hoshiarpur, February 06 (Punjab khabarnama): Under the ‘Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme’ launched by the Punjab government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, today Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa took a bus from Hoshiarpur to visit Sri Salasar Dham and Sri Khatu Shyam Ji. Sailed with the green flag. During this time, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Jyoti Bala Mattu, SDM Hoshiarpur Preetinder Singh Bains and DSP Amarnath were also present with him.
On the occasion of sending off a bus of pilgrims from Hoshiarpur to visit Sri Salasar Dham and Sri Khatu Shyam, Cabinet Minister Jimpa said that the initiation of this scheme will enable the people of Punjab to visit different places of pilgrimage across the country. के लिये साफर की facility is available free of cost. He said that under this scheme, the expenses of the passengers going on the trip will be borne by the Punjab government, which includes all the expenses of their travel, accommodation and food.
The Cabinet Minister said that visits are being made to Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Talwandi Sabo Sri Salasar Dham, Sri Khatu Shyam Ji, Mata Chintapurni Ji etc. He said that buses will be sent to Mata Vaishno Devi and other pilgrimage places soon.
While wishing the pilgrims, Bram Shankar Jimpa said that excellent arrangements have been made by the government to go on this pilgrimage. He said that the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme is proving to be a boon for the people who are deprived of visiting major religious places of Punjab and India due to old age and financial constraints. He said that a budget of 40 crore rupees has been kept during the financial year 2023-24 for this special scheme of the state government.
