Cabinet Minister participated as the chief guest on the last day of the 31st Children Science Congress 

Hoshiarpur , 3 February: The 31st Children Science Congress being held at Rayat and Bahra Group of Institute, Hoshiarpur, concluded today. On the last day of the three-day programme, Punjab Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Zimpa was present as the chief guest while MLA Dr Ravjot , Mayor Surinder Kumar , Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba , Joint Director Punjab State Council for Science and Technology Dr K. S. Bath , Project Scientist Punjab State Council for Science and Technology Dr. Mandakani Thakur , District Education Officer Dr. Gurinderjit Kaur , Campus Director of Rayat & Bahara Chandra Mohan attended the program as a special date. On this occasion, chief guest Cabinet Minister Brahma Shankar Jimpa said that today’s era is the era of science. The Punjab Government is committed to provide high level education to the children , under this, Schools of Eminence have been opened. He said that today children are coming forward with new technologies. The projects made by children are proof that they have great interest in science. He said that there is continuous progress in science and the interest of children is also continuously increasing towards science. He said that today children are coming forward with solutions to big problems on the basis of science. The Cabinet Minister said that the government is paying special attention towards education and health. Wherever there is any deficiency in this field in any government or non-government organization, the government is trying to fulfill it. He said that the stream of development is continuously flowing in Hoshiarpur. If anyone has any suggestion in this regard then it can be brought to their attention. Congratulating the children, he asked them to continue their dedication and hard work. On this occasion, Joint Director of Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Dr. K. S.Bath said that children from 23 districts participated in this Children Science Congress. He said that 131 projects were presented in it, out of which 16 best projects will be presented at the national level. He said that those children who did not get any position need not be disappointed. Their hard work will also bear fruit in the future. He said that children should never give up hard work. He told that around 400 children and their guide teachers participated in this Children Science Congress. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba said that he is very happy to see the dedication of children towards science. He said that India was once called the golden bird . Time is returning once again. There are many possibilities for progress in India today. Children are working hard to take the country forward. The projects presented by small scientists are an example of this. On this occasion, the winning children were honored with prizes. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Kumar , Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini , Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary , Upazila Education Officer Sukhwinder Singh and Dheeraj Vishisht , Principal Shailendra Thakur , District Coordinator Ashok Kalia, District Program Coordinator Soya Siddiqui , Dr. Jyotsna , Lecturer Sandeep Kumar. Sood , Rajendra Medi , Dr. Gaurav Parashar , Gurpreet Bedi, Vijay Dhir Ankur Sharma, Rajeev Sharma , Harinder Jaswal , Dr. Kuldeep Balia , Kuldeep Rana , Jagjit Singh etc. were also present . The results of Children Science Congress were as follows: In the senior category, the project Ecosystem Loving Biochar presented by Sandeep Kaur and Harpreet Kaur, students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Chola Sahib, District Tarn Taran, D.A. Project Water Hyacinth A Delightful Devil presented by Akshita Bhatt and Pranjal Verma, students of V Global School, Patiala, Project Study The Effect of Vehicle Generated Dust on the Growth of Roadside, presented by Vanshika Soni and Sameera Sharma, students of Kamla Nehru Public School, Chak Hakim District, Kapurthala. Vegetation , Project Saving Life on Roads by Using Base Material Reflector presented by Jasmine and Harpreet Kaur, students of Government Girls Smart School, Raho Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Project Health is in Our Hands presented by Simran and Payal, students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Kurali , Project Assessment of Consumption Pattern of Millets and their Practical Application in District Moga presented by Davinder Singh and Maninder Singh, students of Government Smart Senior Secondary School, Single Wala, District Moga. Project presented by Prabhjot Kaur and Ramanpreet Kaur, students of Government Senior Secondary School, Lang, District Patiala. The project Paddy Stubble to Paint presented by Anmolpreet Kaur and Ripanjot Kaur, students of Journey of Parthenium and Malwa School Giddarbaha District Muktsar Sahib, was selected for the national level.
