May 22 (Punjab Khabarnama) : In a major action, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 4 people including the Manager (Quality) and 2 Technical Assistants (TA) of FCI Mullanpur Dakha, Ludhiana. According to the information, CBI has arrested him on charges of taking bribe of Rs 50,000.
It is being reported that a case was registered by the CBI on 21.05.2024 against the Manager (Quality) and a Technical Assistant (TA) of FCI Mullanpur Dakha, Ludhiana, wherein it was alleged that the accused Manager (Quality ) and Technical Assistant (TA) had demanded a bribe of Rs 1,05,000/- from the complainant at the rate of Rs 3000 per truck in return for passing the consignment to his rice mill.
CBI laid a trap and caught FCI Manager (Quality) and 2 Technical Assistants and a private person while accepting bribe of Rs 50,0000/- from the complainant. Searches were conducted at 5 places in the residential and official premises of the accused, during which incriminating documents were recovered. At present the investigation is going on.
