14 july 2026 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau  :  France have received a major boost ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2026 semifinal against Spain, with head coach Didier Deschamps confirming that captain Kylian Mbappé is fit and available despite a minor ankle concern. Deschamps dismissed fears over the star forward’s fitness, saying, “Kylian is fine,” and indicated that France will field a full-strength squad.

Mbappé had missed part of France’s final training session after picking up a slight ankle injury during the quarterfinal victory over Morocco. However, the coaching staff clarified that his reduced workload was only a precaution and that he is expected to start against Spain.
