According to the guidelines of Amrik Singh Sidhu, a function under ‘Sweep’ was organized at Bibi Sharan Kaur Khalsa College Sri Chamkaur Sahib.
Giving information regarding this, the head of the organization, Mr. Dr. Baljit Singh and Nodal Officer Madam Prof. Sukhveer Kaur said that in this event, ‘Sweep Nodal Officer’ Rabinder Singh Rabi gave information about the elections to the girl students in a lively manner and invited them to participate in the voting process.
They were Vizil App, Adarsh Election Code, NOTA, EVM, VVPat. Detailed information was given about it and they were also given voter oath. Literary magazines and medals were awarded to the female students for their outstanding performance. Among the winning students, Navneet Kaur, Komalpreet Kaur, Kirandeep Kaur, Pawandeep Kaur, Parminder Kaur and Taranpreet Kaur were honored with literary books, certificates and medals. Meanwhile, votes for new students were also made.
On this occasion, Rabinder Singh Rabbi said that after the election code, now such events will be organized in all colleges, schools, ITI or other institutions and students will be connected with the election process.
