Wolverhampton, March 21, 2026 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau) : The Ek Niwas Universal Divine Temple in Dudley Road, Blakenhall will host the annual ‘Chet Chala Mela’ this Sunday, March 22, 2026, marking a day of significant spiritual devotion and communal celebration. The festival is organized through the guidance of Baba Tarlochan Singh ji and Mata Kawaljit Kaur ji, offering the local community an opportunity to engage in traditional rites and sacred music.
Confirming the arrangements for the festival, temple representatives Gurjit Singh and Jeewan Singh Flora informed that the event is held with the solemn blessings of Baba Balak Nath Ji. The festivities will commence at 11:00 AM with the traditional Aarties, followed by a formal flag ceremony at 11:30 AM to signal the start of the day’s observances.
The afternoon itinerary features an extensive program of devotional performances running from midday until 6:00 PM. Distinguished British musicians and vocalists are set to perform Bhajan Bhetas, while Baba Tarlochan Singh ji will lead the congregation in the recitation of Gurbani Shabads.
They further added that several devotees of Baba Balak Nath and Baba Tirlochan Singh ji have arrived from different countries to attend the congregation. The organisers have extended a cordial invitation to the Sadh Sangat from United Kingdom, encouraging families and friends to congregate at the temple to participate in the festivities. This annual gathering remains a vital occasion for spiritual reflection and the preservation of cultural heritage.
