Rupnagar, April 12 (Punjab Khabarnama) : District administration Rupnagar has made strenuous efforts to make the purchase of wheat in the district as easy as possible for the farmers, following which Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav today inspected the procurement and lifting of wheat at Anaj Mandi Rupnagar.
He said that this is the initial phase of wheat procurement, this checking was done with the aim of removing the deficiencies in the initial phase. He specially instructed the officials and contractors that farmers and farmers should not face any kind of difficulty in purchasing wheat.
Dr. Priti Yadav directed the district managers of the procurement agencies to pay the farmers’ crops on time and said that the work of wheat arrival, procurement and lifting is going on smoothly in all the procurement centers of the district which should be maintained continuously and Wherever there is a problem, it should be solved immediately by the authorities.
On this occasion, he appealed to all the farmers of the district and asked them to bring dry wheat to sell wheat in the market so that the buyer does not face any difficulty in buying wheat.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner had a conversation with the farmer who came to sell his wheat crop and information regarding the purchase process was taken. On this occasion, those farmers were also asked about the problems facing the market, but the farmers present on the occasion expressed satisfaction over the purchase arrangements.
