Chandigarh, December 18, 2024 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Cancer is the deadliest disease in the world. Just hearing the word cancer can shatter a family. The biggest reasons for this are expensive treatment and lack of proper medication. However, a major breakthrough has now been achieved in the fight against cancer. Yes, a vaccine has been developed to save the lives of cancer patients. Russia has performed this miracle. According to reports, Russia has developed a cancer vaccine. The special thing is that Russia will provide this vaccine for free to its citizens. It is being said that this vaccine will be used not for cancer prevention but for the treatment of cancer patients. According to the Russian news agency TASS, Russia has claimed to have developed a cancer vaccine. It is expected that this vaccine will be launched in early 2025, meaning it will be available to the general public at the beginning of 2025. Andrei Kaprin, the director of the Russian Ministry of Health’s Radiology Medical Research Center, stated that Russia has developed an mRNA vaccine against cancer. This vaccine will be provided to patients for free. Additionally, according to Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, preclinical trials of the cancer vaccine have revealed that it prevents cancer from growing and spreading.
However, it is still unclear which type of cancer this vaccine will treat and how it will save the lives of cancer patients. The name of the vaccine has not yet been disclosed. Other countries are also working on similar projects. According to Newsweek, the UK government has signed an agreement with the German company BioNTech for cancer treatment.
While a cancer vaccine is being developed, Vladimir Putin had already hinted at it earlier. At the beginning of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is very close to developing a cancer vaccine. Currently, the vaccine trials are in the final phase. According to Gintsburg, artificial intelligence can significantly reduce the time required to develop personalized cancer vaccines. Although this process currently takes a long time, with the help of AI, it could be completed in less than an hour.
Russia’s vaccine chief mentioned that developing personalized vaccines currently takes a long time because matrix methods are used to calculate how a vaccine or customized mRNA should look. We have included the Ivanikov Institute, which will rely on AI for these calculations, meaning neural network computing. These processes should take between half an hour to one hour.
Pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Merck & Co. are developing experimental cancer vaccines. A mid-stage study found that treatment for three years reduces the risk of melanoma recurrence or death—one of the deadliest skin cancers—by half. According to the World Health Organization, several licensed vaccines are available for various cancers caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), including cervical cancer. Vaccines are also available for hepatitis B (HBV), which can cause liver cancer.
Summary: Russia has developed a cancer treatment vaccine, expected to launch in 2025. It will be provided for free, helping treat cancer patients and preventing spread.
