Minister Meet Hayer thanks the Chief Minister
A total of 180 new admissions will be made in these three courses
Barnala, 20 Feb (Punjab khabarnama) : Giving a boost to the field of technical education in Barnala district, under stewardship of Chief Minister S Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has granted approval for 180 new seats by starting three new courses at Sant Baba Attar Singh Government Polytechnic College, Badbar.
Sharing this information, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, S Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said that the Punjab government was consistently working towards making technical education in sync with the requirements of today’s industry. Under this, the courses of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering are being started at Government College Badbar from 2024-25 session onwards. In these three-year diploma courses, 60-60 seats have been approved in each course.
He also thanked Education Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains and said that with this decision, the youth of Barnala will not have to go far to get higher technical education and they will get quality education close to their homes.
