Rupnagar, February 09 (Punjab khabarnama) : A one-day district level seminar was organized at Dana Mandi Rupnagar by the Dairy Department regarding Livestock Wealth Scheme (NLM) of Government of India. More than 400 producers participated in this seminar.
Chairman Market Committee Mr. Anandpur Sahib as the chief guest in this seminar. Attended by Kamikar Singh Dadhi. In this seminar, the Director Dairy Development Department promoted the occupation of dairy and informed about the schemes of dairy.
On this occasion, Deputy Director Mr. Vineet Kaura gave detailed information about subsidy of Rs. 1 crore under National Livestock Missional Scheme and subsidy of Rs. 50 lakh under fodder item. All the staff of Rupnagar and District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar participated in this seminar.
In this seminar, 2 kg mineral mixture prepared by Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Science University was also given free of cost to the milk producers.
At the end of the seminar, Deputy Director Mr. Vineet Kaura thanked all the milk producers for participating in this seminar.
