On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa said that the initiative taken by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to bring these tableaux showing the proud history and heritage of Punjab to the people of Punjab is highly commendable. He said that the history and culture of Punjab is unique and no one can underestimate it. He appreciated the efforts of the Punjab government to show the people of Punjab these wonderful tableaus prepared for the National Republic Day, which were not allowed to be displayed there. He said that the great history and rich culture being depicted through these tableaux will be beneficial to connect the young generation with their roots. On this occasion, a large number of people took pictures and selfies with the tableaux and made it a part of their eternal memory.
It is worth mentioning that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had announced the display of these tableaux in every corner of the state, whereby these tableaux were displayed in the Republic Day events held at Patiala and Ludhiana, and then passed through different districts. Shaheed Bhagat Singh entered the boundary of Hoshiarpur district through Garhshankar from Nagar district yesterday, where they were warmly welcomed at Garhshankar under the leadership of Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy. Later, these cells passed through Sala Khurd, Mahilpur and Chabewal and entered Hoshiarpur city, where people faced them at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Government College Chowk, Prabhat Chowk, Tanda Bypass and Naloyan Chowk. After staying at Haryana tonight, tomorrow these Jhakis will reach Mukeri via Bhunga, Garhdiwala, Dasuha, Uchi Bassi and after that they will enter Gurdaspur district.
