2 September 2026 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau : Q Oak Interiors has opened a larger manufacturing facility in JP Nagar, Bengaluru, as the residential interior design company expands its production capacity and prepares to launch a new experience centre in HSR Layout later this year.
The company said the new facility began operations in August 2026 and is designed to support growing demand for full-home interior projects across Bengaluru.
20,000-Sq-Ft Manufacturing Facility
The new factory spans around 20,000 square feet and replaces or expands the company’s earlier manufacturing setup.
According to Q Oak Interiors, the facility increases its monthly production capacity from around 50 projects to 100 projects.
The company said the expansion will allow it to handle a larger number of residential projects while maintaining greater control over manufacturing, finishing and quality checks.
German Machinery Installed
The facility is equipped with machinery from German manufacturers BIESSE and Homag.
The machines are used for processes including panel cutting, edge banding and drilling. Q Oak said the technology is intended to improve consistency and accuracy in the production of furniture components.
The company also said the expanded facility will reduce its dependence on manual processing and outside vendors for key manufacturing stages.
Kitchens, Wardrobes and Custom Furniture
The Bengaluru factory will manufacture a range of products for residential interiors, including:
- Modular kitchens
- Wardrobes
- Television units
- Storage systems
- Made-to-order furniture
- Other modular interior components
According to the company, orders go through material inspection, machine processing, finishing, assembly checks and final approval before being sent to project sites.
New Experience Centre Planned in HSR Layout
Q Oak Interiors is also planning a new experience centre in HSR Layout, with an opening targeted for the end of 2026.
The proposed centre is expected to cater to homeowners in HSR Layout, Koramangala, Sarjapur Road, Electronic City and surrounding areas.
The company said the centre is still in the planning stage, with its exact location, size and opening date yet to be finalised.
Existing Centres in JP Nagar and Whitefield
Q Oak Interiors currently operates experience centres in JP Nagar and Whitefield, where customers can explore materials, finishes, hardware and interior design options.
The company’s official website lists its JP Nagar design studio and Whitefield centre, along with its JP Nagar manufacturing facility.
Focus on In-House Manufacturing
The company said the larger factory is intended to strengthen its in-house manufacturing model.
By keeping more production processes within its Bengaluru operations, Q Oak aims to improve coordination between designers, factory teams and installation crews while handling a larger project pipeline.
Expansion Comes Amid Growing Interior Demand
The expansion comes as Bengaluru continues to see demand for modular kitchens, wardrobes and full-home interior solutions.
Q Oak Interiors said the new manufacturing capacity will help it take on more residential projects while retaining greater control over production and quality.

The company said homeowners are increasingly interested in understanding the materials used in their homes, where furniture is manufactured and how quality checks are conducted.
Q Oak said its factory and experience centres are designed to give customers greater visibility into that process before they commit to an interior project.
HSR Layout Expansion to Broaden Bengaluru Presence
The proposed HSR Layout experience centre would strengthen Q Oak Interiors’ presence in one of Bengaluru’s major residential and technology corridors.
