The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, opened in theatres on August 26 and recorded a strong opening despite mixed audience responses. Reports said it earned around Rs 140.75 crore worldwide on Day 1.
BookMyShow Rating Reportedly Removed

The Indian Express reported that Toxic had a 4.3/10 rating on IMDb and 6/10 on District at the time of its report. Meanwhile, a BookMyShow page crawled later showed a 5.7/10 score based on more than 16,000 votes, suggesting the platform’s rating display may vary by location or may have been restored or updated.
