29 july 2026 Punjab Khabarnama Bureau  :  Indian boxers Preeti Pawar, Priya Ghanghas and Jadumani Singh booked their places in the semi-finals of their respective categories in Glasgow, guaranteeing at least three more medals for India at the tournament.

The trio delivered impressive performances in the quarter-finals to secure their spots in the last four, where they will now compete for a place in the finals and a chance to upgrade their medals.

Strong Showing by Indian Boxers

Preeti Pawar and Priya Ghanghas showcased skill and composure to overcome their opponents, while Jadumani Singh also registered a convincing victory to progress to the semi-finals.

With all three reaching the last four, India is assured of at least bronze medals under the tournament’s boxing format.
