Chandigarh February 3 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu presided over the annual conference of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service Officers Association ‘Abhivyakti’ held at Peterhoff Shimla on Sunday evening. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government will further strengthen the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) He called upon the officers to cooperate and contribute fully in the decisions of the government and said that officers are the strength of the government. He said that the present challenges can be faced only with new technology and new thinking. The government is working towards system transformation. With this objective, she is continuously leading the state on the path of progress.
The Chief Minister reiterated his resolve to zero ‘delay corruption’ in the state and said that the state government is bringing meaningful changes in various processes and rules with a positive attitude. He said that the state will become a self-reliant state in the year 2027 and a leader in the country in 2032. It will become the most prosperous state.
The Chief Minister said that after formation of the government, the government strongly faced the economic, political and natural challenges. As a result of strong intentions and farsighted policies, Himachal is currently empowered in every field. He said that the state government is focused on hydropower, tourism, food, It is focusing specifically on processing, data storage, and agriculture and horticulture.
Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu praised the administrative officers and said that they are discharging their duties well by providing commendable services even in remote and inaccessible areas. He said that the officers are playing the best role in implementing the government’s schemes and programs at the grassroots level. They play an important role. The government is also constantly striving for the welfare of the employees and officers and protection of their interests is being ensured. He said that the state government will sympathetically consider the demands of the HPAS officers and for this a high level meeting will be held soon. A decision will be taken after detailed discussion.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also released the new logo, flag and souvenir of HPAS Officers Association.
Association President Shravan Manta welcomed the Chief Minister and apprised him of the activities and demands of the association.
On this occasion, all the members of HPAS Officers Association decided to give up electricity subsidy and filled and submitted the forms in this regard.
Association General Secretary Prashant Sarkaik presented the vote of thanks.
On this occasion, a cultural programme based on the rich culture of the state was also presented.
