Kiratpur Sahib, January 31 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): Following the guidelines of the Punjab Government and the directions of Civil Surgeon Rupnagar, under the leadership of Senior Medical Officer Dr. Daljeet Kaur, the Health Department of Kiratpur Sahib provided information about the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) to shopkeepers and others in various areas.

S.M.I. Supervisor Sukhdeep Singh instructed the shopkeepers not to sell tobacco or tobacco-based products in open forms. He explained that checks were conducted at the bus stand, railway station, and markets of Kiratpur Sahib. On this occasion, Kulwinder Singh, Varinder Singh, Rajeev Kumar, and Ravinder Singh were present.

Summary: Dr. Daljeet Kaur announces that people violating the Kota Act 2003 were educated about the rules and challans were issued accordingly.
