Crude oil is available below $74 per barrel, while Brent crude is priced at $77.75 per barrel. Meanwhile, the country’s oil marketing companies have updated petrol and diesel prices. Fuel prices have decreased and increased in different parts of the country. However, no changes were observed in the four major cities. In states like Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, petrol has become cheaper, while in places like Bihar and Daman and Diu, fuel prices have seen a slight increase. In Kolkata, petrol is priced at ₹106.03 and diesel at ₹92.76 per liter.
In Delhi, petrol is priced at ₹96.65 and diesel at ₹89.82 per liter.
In Mumbai, petrol is priced at ₹106.31 and diesel at ₹94.27 per liter.
In Chennai, petrol is priced at ₹102.63 and diesel at ₹94.24 per liter.

- In Patna, petrol is priced at ₹105.23 and diesel at ₹92.09 per liter.

New rates are announced every day at 6 AM:
The prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 AM. The new rates are applicable from that time. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT, and other charges, the price of fuel almost doubles from its original cost. This is why petrol and diesel prices appear to be so high.
