Chandigarh, January 27, 2025 (Punjab Khabarnama Bureau): This week, the prices of gold and silver have increased in the Indian bullion market. During this business week, the price of gold rose by 1,003 rupees per 10 grams, while silver saw an increase of 1,011 rupees per kilogram. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) website, the price of 24-carat gold at the beginning of this business week (January 20 to 24) was 79,345 rupees, which increased to 80,348 rupees per 10 grams by Friday. Similarly, the price of 999 purity silver rose from 90,200 rupees to 91,211 rupees per kilogram.

It is worth noting that the India Bullion Jewellers Association provides daily updates on gold and silver prices. The rates issued by IBJA are widely accepted across the country, but they do not include GST and making charges.
