The grand event, held in Mumbai, saw Deepika opening the show in a breathtaking monochromatic white ensemble. This marked Deepika’s first runway appearance since embracing motherhood, and she truly set the tone for the evening, effortlessly transitioning from global movie star to fashion muse.

The traditional lehenga, a staple in his collections, was almost entirely absent, with only one or two exceptions. Instead, the runway featured separates, and accessories like statement bags, shoes, and jewellery that seamlessly tied the collection together.
The show was a feast of drama and extravagance, things we’ve come to associate with Sabyasachi, pushing the boundaries of excess in styling. While some praised the audacity, others noted the bold divergence from traditional Indian couture.
