10 october 2024 : During a religious journey program, an explosion occurred when fire ignited firecrackers kept in a bag, injuring six people. Police officials provided details, stating that the explosion took place in the Prehlad Nagar area, causing damage to nearby shops and windows of houses. They mentioned that some individuals were lighting firecrackers during the religious procession when one person’s bag of firecrackers caught fire, leading to an explosion. Authorities confirmed that the injured were admitted to a local hospital, and two of them were referred to a private hospital due to their serious condition.
