10 october 2024 : Gold prices dropped on Thursday. The price of 24-carat gold is ₹7685.3 per gram, reflecting a decrease of ₹760.0, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹7046.3 per gram, down by ₹700.0.

Over the past week, 24-carat gold prices have risen by 0.15%, but there has been a significant 4.76% decline over the last month. The current silver price stands at ₹97,000 per kg, down by ₹2,000.

In Delhi, the price of gold today is ₹76,853 per 10 grams, a decrease from ₹77,613 on 09-10-2024, and ₹77,733 on 04-10-2024.

Chennai’s gold rate is ₹76,701 per 10 grams today, down from ₹77,461 on 09-10-2024, and ₹77,581 last week. The silver rate in Chennai is ₹1,02,600 per kg, a drop from ₹1,05,600 on 09-10-2024 and ₹1,03,700 last week.

In Mumbai, the gold price is ₹76,707 per 10 grams today, down from ₹77,467 on 09-10-2024, and ₹77,587 last week. Silver in Mumbai is priced at ₹96,300 per kg today, compared to ₹99,200 on 09-10-2024 and ₹97,400 last week.

Kolkata’s gold rate is ₹76,705 per 10 grams today, down from ₹77,465 on 09-10-2024 and ₹77,585 last week. The silver rate in Kolkata is ₹97,800 per kg, down from ₹1,00,800 on 09-10-2024 and ₹98,900 last week.

As of now, the MCX futures for gold in November 2024 are trading at ₹662 per 10 grams, up by ₹1.378. The silver November 2024 futures are at ₹3,925.5 per kg, up by ₹2.507.

Gold and silver prices are influenced by several factors, including demand from jewelers, global economic conditions, currency fluctuations, interest rates, and government policies.
