26 september 2024 : Actor Divya Dutta expressed her frustration with IndiGo after claiming she was checked in for a canceled flight without any prior notification. She shared a video from Mumbai airport, highlighting the deserted area and criticizing the airline for their lack of communication and assistance.
In her Instagram post on Thursday morning, Divya revealed that she arrived at the airport only to find her flight had been canceled, with no announcement made at the gate. She tagged IndiGo in her post, stating, “Thank you for a very horrendous experience in the wee hours! No notification of a canceled flight… I was checked in on a canceled flight, and the announcement only reflected at the gate!”
She further lamented the absence of airline staff to help her, describing the situation as “huge harassment.” “No staff to assist! Huge harassment at the gate with no representatives from @indigo.6e @indigoairways present… and a high-handed approach towards passengers! My shoot has been affected, and I am terribly upset,” she added.
Many Instagram users supported Divya in the comments, suggesting she take her complaint to Twitter for a quicker response from the airline. One user remarked, “What the hell. This is how they treat their clients?”
The weather in Mumbai, which saw heavy rain on Wednesday night into Thursday morning, caused numerous flight delays and cancellations. Many, including Divya, pointed out that the airline failed to adequately inform passengers about these changes, resulting in significant inconveniences at the airport.
