Chandigarh, July 17 – Haryana Government has assigned Sh Anurag Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary of the PW (B&R), Architecture, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, as the in-charge of Bhiwani district. He will take on this role in addition to his current duties, replacing Sh Pankaj Agarwal, Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana.
An order to this effect has been issued by Chief Secretary, Sh TVSN Prasad, here today.
As per the orders, he will review projects worth Rs. 25 Crores and more of the district. Besides, he will make a broad review of overall crime incidents and the occurrence of heinous crimes, vigilance matters in terms of clearances within the ambit of 17A and 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, the efficacy and functioning of service delivery mechanisms as envisaged in the Right to Service Act, parameters of functioning of the Health, Education, and Social Sectors, and impediments faced by DETC concerning taxes, GST, etc
