While Microsoft has overtaken Apple to occupy the first position after a long time, Nvidia has jumped several places. Now Nvidia’s market cap has crossed $3 trillion and it is only the third company in the world to achieve this feat. Before that, only Microsoft and Apple have achieved this feat.
Now Nvidia’s market capitalization is $3.011 trillion and it has become the second most valuable company. In the last 3 months, Nvidia’s market cap has increased by about $1 trillion. Microsoft has again become the world’s largest company this year after being at the second position behind Apple for a long time. Its market cap is $3.151 trillion right now. However, now its position is under threat from Nvidia.
Apple, which remained the world’s most valuable company for years, has now slipped to the third position. The market cap of the iPhone maker is currently $3.003 trillion. Google’s parent company Alphabet is in fourth place, whose current market capitalization is $2.177 trillion. Google is also benefiting from the increasing demand for artificial intelligence.
Jeff Bezos’ company Amazon is currently the fifth largest listed company in the world in terms of market cap. Its market cap is currently $1.886 trillion. All the five largest companies in the world in terms of market cap are American. Saudi Arabia’s Saudi Aramco, which once managed to achieve the status of the world’s second largest company, has now slipped to the sixth position. Its market cap is currently $1.820 trillion.
