Hoshiarpur, March 13 (Punjab Khabarnama): Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal today issued in-principle approval to Kulbir Singh, partner of M/s Brand Wills, to set up his own hotel and restaurant related industry. He said that in-principle approval has been issued to 28 industrial units in Hoshiarpur district so far and they have established their industries.The Deputy Commissioner said that more efforts are being made by the Punjab government to promote industrial development in the state and to provide relief to the industries and under these efforts, a single window system is being run by the Punjab government through the Business First portal. Through this portal, industrial units can get regulatory clearance and other services in a timely manner.Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the Right to Business Act-2020 has been implemented by the Punjab government. Highlighting the features of this act, he said that under this act, the industrial units who will set up their units outside the approval industrial area of the district, within 15 days and the industrial units who will be engaged in the approval industry should set up their industries. In-Principal Approval will be issued forHe said that after passing these principal approvals, the unit can start its business and 3 to 6 months time is given to the unit to get regular approval. To get these principal approvals, the entity has to apply on the Punjab Business First portal.General Manager of District Industry Center Arun Kumar said that the Industrial and Business Development Policy-2022 of the Punjab Government is getting encouragement and under this, 1241 crores have been collected from 120 investors on the online portal for investment in the district during the year 2023-24. Proposal received for new investment of Rs.Apart from this, under Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Sirjan Yojana (PMEGP), district Hoshiarpur has achieved more than 150 percent of the target, under which 106 applicants of the district have started their work. . A help desk has been set up by the District Industry Center to facilitate the entrepreneurs, where all information is provided to set up the industry.
