MLA Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar welcomed
Sri Muktsar Sahib 12 February (Punjab khabarnama) : Tableaus depicting the glorious heritage and history of the state arrived at Sri Muktsar Sahib today by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann. On reaching here, MLA of Sri Muktsar Sahib Mr. Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar welcomed them and sent them to the next stage after showing the flag.
Speaking on this occasion, MLA Mr. Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar said that the Punjab government has prepared these tableaus showing the history, heritage and contribution of the great martyrs of Punjab in the freedom struggle so that our new generation can be made aware of them. . He said that one tableau among them is My Bhago which is based on women empowerment. He said that at Sri Muktsar Sahib, Mai Bhago had fought against the Mughals with the blessings of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, so it is a matter of pride for us that Mai Bhago ji’s tableau is also connected with Sri Muktsar Sahib. Included in three tableaus. He said that later these tableaus will go to Fazilka district passing through Giddarbaha and Malot.
On this occasion, a large number of people saw these tableaus at different places in the city and appeared to appreciate this wonderful initiative of the Punjab government. People said that with such initiatives our new generation is more aware of our glorious history.
