Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal and District Police Chief S. Under the directions of Manjit Singh Dhesi, Regional Transport Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner. Under the leadership of Ravinder Singh Arora, reflectors were installed on buses and vehicles as part of the National Road Safety Month activities being celebrated in Fazilka district .
On this occasion, the Regional Transport Officer said that caution should be taken while driving road vehicles because it is important not only for our own safety but also for the safety of others. He said that everyone should follow the road rules. He said that sometimes the vehicle is not visible from a distance at night , the reflector shines at night due to which accidents can be avoided by seeing the vehicle from a distance .
Apart from this, the transport department also distributed a booklet showing the road rules in which the rules while driving on the road have been explained in detail . He said that it is very important to follow the rules to avoid any untoward incident . He said that one should never rush while walking on the road He said that the vehicle should be driven within the prescribed speed He said that the vehicle should not be crossed when there is a red light and the vehicle should be crossed only when the light is green .
On this occasion, Fazilka Mr. Pawan Kumar , Traffic Incharge, Malkeet Singh from Police Department , Sanjay Sarma from RTO office inspired the people regarding this campaign.
