Ludhiana, February 04 (Punjab khabarnama) : Under the creation of Naroa Punjab, efforts are being made by the Punjab government to keep the youth away from drugs. Under this series, Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA from Vidhan Sabha Constituency Sahnewal, inaugurated an open gym at Dream Park yesterday.
MLA Mundias said that as per the demand of the constituency residents, for morning-evening walks and children’s entertainment, where new parks are being constructed, all the parks are also being beautified. He said that under the beautification of the parks, new flower plants, swings for children, swings for children, open gyms for the youth to exercise, repair of the four walls of the parks, installation of grills, planting of shady trees in addition to the elderly in the morning and evening. Dedicated footpaths are also being built for walking.
Apart from this, now open gyms are also being set up on the strong demand of the youth.
MLA Mundias said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to provide a clean and green environment to its residents.
On this occasion, Chairman Sharanpal Singh Makkar, Gurdarshan Singh Kohli, Tajinder Singh Mithu, Surinder Chaudhary, Nidhi Gupta, Hardev Singh Sodhi, Jaswant Singh, Babbu Mundian, Sohan Singh Khokhar, Prince Saini, Amrik Saini and others were present.
