Hoshiarpur, 01 February (Punjab khabarnama) :
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal conducted a surprise inspection of Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur to check compliance with the instructions given by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann regarding providing better health facilities and medicines to the people in the government hospitals of the state. During this, he also took stock of the health services provided in the Civil Hospital. He said that the health facilities provided to the patients in the Civil Hospital were satisfactory. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Balwinder Kumar Dumana and SMO Dr. Swati Shemar were also present with him.
The Deputy Commissioner said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister Punjab, all the medicines are being provided to the patients in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur in the hospital itself and they no longer have to go out to get the medicines prescribed by the doctor. He said that the facility of X-ray and ultrasound scan will also be made available to the people free of cost in the hospital. He said that the aim of Punjab Government is to provide better health facilities to the people, in which direction work is going on at a fast pace. He said that the Punjab government is leaving no stone unturned to provide better health facilities to the people.
