June 12 (Punjab Khabarnama) : Sensational information has been received about stone pelting by unknown persons near Phagwara on 22488 Vande Bharat Express train running from Amritsar to Delhi. According to the information, stones have been pelted on the C-3 coach of the train in which the glass of two windowpanes has been badly damaged.
After the incident, fear and panic is being seen among the railway passengers traveling in Vande Bharat train. Poonam Kalra and Dali Thukral, residents of Gurugram, who were traveling in the C-3 coach of the train, told that as soon as they sat in the Vande Bharat Express train from Phagwara to Delhi, a loud sound was heard near the seat next to them. They told that for some time no one knew what had happened. But later when the whole matter was investigated thoroughly, it was found that unknown persons had pelted stones on the C-3 coach of the Vande Bharat Express train from outside.
However, some passengers say that these stones have been thrown by children from outside, while some say that this stone pelting has been done mischievously. On the other hand, after getting information about stone pelting on Vande Bharat train, the staff of railway department and other officials reached the C3 coach of the train and are collecting information about the whole matter. The important aspect is that no such incident of stone pelting on any train has been seen on Phagwara Goraya railway track for a long time. But the way stone pelting happened on Vande Bharat Express train running between Amritsar and Delhi on Phagwara Goraya railway track today, it has definitely raised many questions and till the time of writing this news, this matter remains a big puzzle that who pelted stones on Vande Bharat train and why?
