May 31 (Punjab Khabarnama) : The police of Nagar Thana No. 2 has registered a case under Section 306 of IPC against the wife of a man in connection with his death. The case is being investigated by Assistant Sub-Inspector Balwinder Singh.
In her statement to the police, Veena, wife of Rajkumar, resident of Arya Nagar Street No. 7, said that her son Vicky was married to Shalu, daughter of Maman Lal, resident of Gidderbaha. Shalu often quarreled with her son Vicky and went to her parents. The same thing happened yesterday. Vicky had a fight with his wife Shalu.
Her son, fed up, swallowed some poisonous substance, after which Shalu went to her parents’ house with her children. When her son’s health deteriorated, he was admitted to the hospital. He died during treatment. The police have registered a case against Shalu in this matter.
