May 28 (Punjab Khabarnama) : A rifle and an iron rod have been recovered from a car by Behrampur police station under Dinanagar assembly constituency. Giving this related information, police station chief Avtar Singh said that A.S.I. Jagir Chand had received secret information that a car number PB 06.BF7247 Marka i-20 was roaming in the area under suspicious circumstances to commit some crime.
On which ASI Jagir Chand along with the police party chased the said car, then the car rider drove the car at a high speed, took it to the side of village Duaba police station Dinanagar, locked it near village Doaba and ran away, after which the car was towed to Behrampur. Brought to the police station, when the car was locked and checked, a double barrel rifle and a crowbar were recovered from the car. After investigation by the police, further action was started by registering a case against Vikas Kumar, Krishna resident Shashiyan Mohalla Baharampur, Luv Babbu resident Deanda Sainiyan and 2 unknown persons under different sections.
