Chandigarh, May 22 – Voter awareness rally was organized at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. The students also made people aware about voting through street drama. Vice Chancellor of the University Professor B.R. Kamboj flagged off the rally.
Sharing more details in this regard, Professor B.R. Kamboj said that voters play an important role in democracy. The initiative of making voters aware about voting through student awareness rallies has been taken so that the voting percentage can be increased. Voters should understand the importance of their precious vote and reach the booth to vote to strengthen democracy, he said.
Professor B.R. Kamboj said that various programs are being organized by the University to make the voters aware so that no voter is deprived of exercising his franchise. Students also made voters aware about voting through door to door programmes. In this series, various competitions including poster making, debate, slogan writing were organized by the university, he informed.
