Hoshiarpur, May 15 (Punjab Khabarnama) : General Observer, 2003 batch IAS officer Dr. R., appointed by the Election Commission of India for Lok Sabha constituency-05 Hoshiarpur. Anand Kumar and Police Supervisor 2014 IPS officer Kushal Pal Singh today inspected the counting centers established for Lok Sabha Hoshiarpur, Rayat-Bahra Group of Institute and Multi Skill Development Centre, ITI. Visited and took stock of the arrangements. First of all, General and Police Observer reached Rayat-Bahra Group of Institute and here he visited the counting centers of seven assembly constituencies and discussed about security, CCTV cameras, strong rooms and necessary facilities related to setting up of counting centres. Took stock of. After this the Police Supervisor visited the Multi Skill Development Centre, I.T.I. Also visited. During this, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rahul Chaba and SP Manoj Kumar were also specially present.
The General Observer and Police Observer instructed the officers that there should be strong security arrangements in the counting centers and there should be no shortcomings from the security side. He said that arrangements should be made for the counting process as per the instructions of the Election Commission , so that the Lok Sabha elections can be conducted in a transparent manner. During this, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba said that concrete arrangements are being made to conduct the counting process smoothly in the district. He said that tight security arrangements have been made for counting of votes and no one will be allowed to disturb the law and order. SP Manoj Kumar said that no stone will be left unturned by the district police in terms of security during the counting of votes. He said that police activities have been intensified to conduct the election process peacefully in the district and law and order will not be allowed to be disrupted at any cost. While instructing the district police, he said that to maintain law and order, they should perform their duty with full hard work and honesty.
